Hi, I just want to point out that the number of combinations you can get from the padlock is more than 1024.
It's a 5 digits lock and you can choose from 0-9 so 10 choices, which means the no. of combinations are: (10 x 9 x 8 x 7 x 6)/2=15120
(divided by 2 because, say the combination is 12345, it's no different from 54321).
Please don't be offended Mr Oswald, I just really like this lock. :)

This lock is great for when you want to be able to quickly or repeatedly open a lock without fishing for a key. It can be opened in under a second by touch alone. It is much easier then precisely spinning a dial back and forth and there is no key to lose. I use it for my pool locker -- no key to lose in the depths of the pool, and minimal time spent freezing after the swim.

This is a great lock for those of us who are getting older and need reading glasses. Easy to see the numbers, unlike most other combo locks.

It's a little heavier than the other one I tried for better security. You can't program or change the combination. Easy to see and handle.

I love this lock because of its ease of use (it can be opened in two seconds with one hand,) but I thought I'd warn people that, despite its sturdy feel, it uses relatively weak security. Using it on the gate to the backyard is probably fine, as a deterrent, but using it to protect valuables is a bad idea.

The packaging mistakenly states there are 100,000 possible combinations, while in reality there are many fewer. There are only ten buttons, which can each be depressed or not. That means there are a total of 2 to the tenth possible combinations, which is only 1024. Worse, since the lock only supports 5 digit combinations, that reduces the total number of possible combinations to 252. That means that someone tried 25 combinations per minute, they would likely solve it in under 10 minutes.

Also, the combination is set at the factory and cannot be changed, which isn't a huge deal, but might irritate some, and also prevents you from changing the combination periodically.

The lock does have a secure appearance to it, so it will likely deter the math-challenged. For the right application, where a deterrent, rather than security, is sufficient, and convenience is important, this is a great lock.

Great secure, easy to use, key lock box!
I was pretty impressed with the quality of this lock box. It is very easy to program and use, and looks and feels to be very well made.
